HS Silver 800-925 was established in
the early 1950 in the rural community of Kotagede, Jogjakarta.
Historically, the area of Kotagede has long been associated with the
Javanese Monarchy. Many local residents worked as silversmith to produce
jewelry designs for the royal families.Thus Kotagede to this present
day is known as "The heart of Silver" in Yogyakarta. The founders, Mr.
and Mrs. Harto Suhardjo were always fascinated with jewelry and decide
to open their first shop called "Terang Bulan". The shop produces and
stocks unique jewelry from brass. Over the following years they
developed a deep interest and expertise in silver jewelry and the
business name became HS Silver, HS being our founder\'sinitials. HS
Silver offers design distinguished by Javanese motifs, influenced with
bold (solid) heavily textured and silver string wires techniques
(filigree). Since 1975 at the first branch of Denpasar, Bali, HS jewelry
has enjoyed success in the local market, particularly Bali. HS
distributes wholesale to Balinese art shops and third party exporters.
HS Silver has always had superior product quality. In 1998 the company
obtained ISO 9000 certificate series B under license by PT Sucofindo,
Jakarta. On February 2000, the company obtained another certificate ISO
9001 (2000 TUV CERT certification body of RWTUV systems GmbH). These
recognitions of HS Silver\'s quality are something that we are all proud
of. At present HS Silver hs obtained over 2000 designs. Today HS Silver
products are exported worldwide such as to Europe, South East Asia,
Middle East and Australia.
